anyone use the mystery ranch hands free gun sling?

has anyone used the mystery ranch gun sling? i think its called the quick draw? i hate my rifle slipping off my shoulder on the mountain

I haven't used that one but have used the Kifaru gun bearer and the Stone Glacier QR strap. Anything is preferable to carrying it on my shoulder.

The Kifaru universal gun bearer was used on a Mystery Ranch backpack too, though not sure what brand your backpack is.

I have the MR Quick Draw rifle sling and it's paired with my MR Cabinet. Does the trick and I'm happy with it.

It's a great pack! I just took my Scapegoat 25 to Grand Canyon and Saguaro National Park and loved it, but it's no Cabinet

It is definitely a great pack. Sad to see they discontinued it. The cabinet is kind of a mix between a blessing and a curse. Plenty of space and really can do just about everything, however the some smaller built in pockets sure would make organization easier. Overall I love it and it was great packing my black bear out 4 miles last month. Excited to get my hands on the sling and put it to use on my upcoming blackpowder hunt in the mountains of VA. I just was leary as so many people seem to not give the rifle sling the most glorious review. I just wish it was compatible with the lid

I used the sling briefly. I didn’t like it. Moving around trees at angles and bending over had it falling off the holder constantly. I ditched it for the kifaru style.

Do you have your kifaru gun bearer facing the front/side or on the back face of the pack? Be interested to know how it rides facing forwards.
