What's your experience and can you wax them to be waterproof? Can they stand up to multiple stream crossings or walking through wet grass all day?

Just curious, why the Fuego? If I was looking at a pair of Scarpa boots, I think I'd be looking at the Kinesis Pro GTX, R-Evolution Plus GTX, or the Triolet Pro GTX. I know that I've read some feedback regarding the Tiolet boots on Rokslide, and it seems like they were spoken highly of.

Because I can pronounce Fuego but not Triolet. :)

J/K,
The Fuego's were recommended to me by the shop that made my insoles. I tried a pair of the Charmoz a few months ago and while they are a very nice boot, I didn't like the smooth sole at the front of the boot. For me, my foot would slip when walking in grass. I do plan to get a Scarpa boot with those soles if I ever draw a sheep tag as I think they'd be great for that terrain.
