Anyone try cheap amazon down pants?

If your planning on having them UNDER her hiking pants, Id skip the down and use a fleece or expedition weight longjohn instead. The down is just going to get compressed down to two layers of nylon, they need to be able to loft to maintain there insulation properties. Otherwise have her wear them on the outside.

That’s the plan. Wear them over her pants while sitting and glassing.
My Amazon down pants have tight cuffs and no leg zips at all. Great for around camp but not something I want to try to get in and out of for glassing. Also I bought the xxl and I’m a 34-35 waist

I have a pair (Naturehike brand) that had the same issue. I had my wife rip out the inseam partway up the leg and sew in a pair of 15'' or so zippers. Now they work like a charm.

Realize this thread is four years old but can anyone tell me if a medium wood work well for a 32'' waist with the Under Armor ridge reaper down pants ?
