Anyone shooting APR?

I started out my earlier hunting days with the ordinary Walmart Rem 700 then bumped up to a Tikka t3x. Both ran great and knocked deer down without issue. Last Dec I ordered an APR Mavrick in 6.5 and my father ordered a Classic Hunter in .308. We looked at some other options from bigger name companies, but decided we would rather give a small business some love. I should have the 6.5 here in a few weeks but the Hunter’s like 6 months out due to supply issues from Mcmillian.

Anyone else hunting with APR’s how’s your overall experience been? I struggled to find any bad reviews. The only downside Ive really seen about them is lead times.

Yea we have a couple and they are bughole guns. Great guys as well. They will actually spend some time with you and work through the options and make suggestions to help you out.

Yes I actually got Robert when I originally called and we spent about an hr on the phone together. I told him what I was looking for and he offered some opinions and what the shop could provide and I ended up ordering on the spot. I have a ton of respect for a small business that is willing to take that kind of time to help out a customer or even a potential customer.

I had APR build my wife a 6.5 creedmoor a few years ago using there APR 2 action. It shoots great, super easy company to deal with. I would definitely have them make me another.
