Anyone run a Athlon thermal?

No personal experience with them but heard generally good things.

You won’t beat that price on any comparable 640 tube style thermal out there right now and @EuroOptic is a solid company to do business with.

My buddy picked one up and has been running it the last two trips we’ve gone. Haven’t heard him complain. Pretty legit feel, image and good value. Have yet to see if it’ll hold up though.

The Athlon units are rebranded Guide thermal USA products. And guide manufactures parts for a lot of other brands. You can get the same scope branded differently for less from Guide. I have a 2 year old TU-651LRF and i love it. I keep seeing all the new ones come out and get the wants, but my thermal is not what limits how many dogs a year I kill. i cant recommend the Guide stuff enough, they punch well above their price class. 10 year warranty on the sensor. Only drawback to mine is proprietary batteries but they have changed that on the new stuff.
