Anyone make their own poles for megatarp??

Looked through this thread and did a search and found some things but was wondering if anyone makes their own polies for the megatarp and if so what do you use. Thanks.

Id check out Bearpaw Design he makes custom poles for Tents and tarps I have a set of his 54 inch poles super light and are in 3 sections with Shock Cord. I think it runs around 50$ for a set.

You might try carbon arrows. I broke a couple poles on my ground blind and replaced the fiberglass poles with carbon arrows.

Like Jimss said, you can do a search on here and find a thread about the carbon arrow/shelter pole build. If your looking to buy, Ruta Locura makes some pretty heavy duty yet light weight CF custom poles.

You're probably on your way, but I talked to tigoat, and was directed to ruta locura. He made me a custom 7" + adjustable pole, and I also bought one of their walking sticks. The pole is the same ti goat uses.

Well I ordered some easton poles and cut them to length. I will see how they do for the mega tarp.
I also had a old set of primos aluminum shooting sticks so i cut them down for my para tarp. Tested them out and they seem to work good.
