Anyone loading the Hornady 180 CX for 300 wsm?

Any information on the 180 cx for 300 wsm would be great. My gun really likes the 180 TTSX and the 180 GMX. I have any to do some testing with the CX.Just putting some feelers out to see what everyone thinks of the CX for a 300 wsm. Thank you.

I know you asked about 180's but the 190's and H4831sc shoot bug holes. It will be my go to load and I had decent results with H4831sc and 180 NAB so I am sure they would work well too.

I have some 190s but the tech I talked to at Hornady said I wouldn’t have room for powder with 300 wsm case so I set them aside. And purchased 180s. Maybe I’ll try them both as long as it doesn’t get to crunchy when seating.

How much H4381 are you using?

I don't know if this will help you but in my .300 saum I had a load worked up for the GMX ( along with custom Leopold dial for the scope ) when Hornady changed from GMX to the CX. I am able to confirm that the same load shot the same with both projectiles.

180's WLM PRIMERS, 65.5 GRS (2875) AND 190'S 67.0 GRNS (2850).

That is great information thank you! My gun definitely likes the GMX from what I’ve shot of it. Hopefully it’s a seamless transition like you experienced.

How much jump do the Cx like ? I know TTSX like around 50 thou off.

I just loaded at 2.860 and they shot sub MOA.
