Once I test these I’ll be loading TMKs as well. I want a base line for the 109s then I’m gonna dabble with the TMKs to hunt with.I have 95tmk loaded with 35.0 rl15.5 on the bench waiting to be shot when I get home. Seating depths from -30 to -80 to get some preliminary data.
109s have shot really well out of my 170fb 6gt barrels, usually the regular eld 50k jump in mid to low 2800s or mid to low 2900s shoots great with minimal development to get there. 109 Bergers do great things at the same velocity, I usually jump them 40-45k. The gt is a very easy case to get shooting small groups.Once I test these I’ll be loading TMKs as well. I want a base line for the 109s then I’m gonna dabble with the TMKs to hunt with.
These are loaded at saami length for the saami chamber cause I can’t measure it currently haha. Should be a sweet shooter since it’s a heavier rig.109s have shot really well out of my 170fb 6gt barrels, usually the regular eld 50k jump in mid to low 2800s or mid to low 2900s shoots great with minimal development to get there. 109 Bergers do great things at the same velocity, I usually jump them 40-45k. Looks fantastic! 6gt is a badass lil case. The low taper and 35° shoulder are nearly ackley case dimensions, it can be pushed really heard with alpha brass before psi signs. Just be sure you get a good tight die. I had some clickers on warm loads using a bullet cental micron sizing die, went back to my rcbs match master and it all went away.View attachment 944189
Back from paint today. Bolted up and ready for the range Saturday. I’m liking it!
Thanks amigo. That’s good to hear since I have the match master dies. I’m really looking forward to shooting it.Looks fantastic! 6gt is a badass lil case.
