Yeah. It's a real bish to learn how to unzip the coat on your way to the draw.......That's the holster I have, but if it was under my coat, I might as well leave it at home. I'd never get a shot.

You'd never get a shot on anything if your draw took that long. Not having it in my hand ready to go is an issue as it is. But you can't drive a snowmachine with a pistol in your hand so...Yeah. It's a real bish to learn how to unzip the coat on your way to the draw.......

Correct! He was on the ground hard quartering away. Luckily, shot was only about 15 yds and snapped spine. He made it roughly 10 yds before my boy and I made it over to him to make sure he made it into the bag!Looks like your shot was high and back, how far you have to track em?

Indeed! Same thing that happened to me, had his fronts but not his backs.I did something similar to one the other day. I shoot them on my property because they chew stuff up like wires and crap.
It was in a branch and I hit him too far back, I could see his legs flopping around as he dragged himself across a branch. Luckily I made a clean shot just a few seconds later. It really made be feel bad and reminded me to slow down and make good shots.
