That sucks Martin! I know those stinky bastards have changed even where we find sheds now...one of my best spots prior to wolves is a bust now just to open for the elk to be safe anymore. They used to only have to worry about an occasional cat and just lay around waiting for spring, now they have to continuously worry about this 4 legged bastard in ass deep snow!

One of the few things I miss about living in Idaho, depression will set in soon :( I really, really, REALLY love to shed hunt. For many reasons... nothing like finding some sheds, it's great exercise for both man and dog!

With nv passing a shed season. I have to wait until April to go pick up sheds. But I plan on burning calories by hiking in and watching/ filming bucks until they drop

Magnum is more out there as my compadre, he has found a few and this memorable set two years ago...we had pikd a couple and all of a sudden he had his nose in the air and was running downhill through trees and here lay this very fresh set. Pretty cool to see them find them when they do.

Damn, that's cool. I have never had my lab out with me when I go, she likes to chase the four legged critters to much. Lost her for over a week one time. I wish we could find sheds like that around here, I swear every swinging dick in this state is out looking when horns start hitting the ground.

More people out for sheds than hunt deer. I have low success at both

Getting back in the gym mode after 3 months of hunting sucks! Gotta look at photos to keep motivated after the season ends.............

Ross I'm getting excited to get out again. My late archery season just closed yesterday (no buck for me) so hopefully I'll find some sheds instead. This year was a slow one, I only found 5 sheds total. 4 deer and 1 elk, but it keeps me hiking and in shape.

Good luck Jason and Steve.........oh yes chukars I hate those little birds!

Long before our long range editor Mr Millard delved into that category, he was quite the rafts man :) We met many moons ago and both walked away saying who the fuk is on my hillside looking for my Antlers:) We've since had many good times afield, along with my brother on a few overnight antler trips...A few from the old vault when I was much younger and my long ago lab Choco had a long day in North Idaho with fresh snow in June.
