Anyone familiar with "Toaks" brand cooksets?

I recieved a 1600ml Ti pot with bail handle for Xmas. Overall impressions are that I like it. It seems well made, but is a bit thinner than some other Ti items I have. Compared to say a Snowpeak mug, its much thinner. But, Ti is durable strong stuff so I doubt it will ever be an issue. I took it out on a weekend trip last weekend and it performed good on a fire for melting snow pretty much continuously. Also used it on my MSR XGK EX with no issues.

I think for the price, its awesome cookware so far. My only advice would be that since its so thin I would definitely stick to boiling water or soups with it, and not try to actually cook anything because Ti is already known for scorching, and super thin Ti i bet will scorch like something fierce.

Thinner also = lighter, so keep that in mind as well. The 1600 pot i got weighs 7.4oz i think. For comparison look at a snowpeak 1400 vs a toaks 1300. toaks is 5oz, snowpeak is 7.4oz.

Thanks TR. Think I'll give them a try. Want an alternative to my Jetboil system that I can use with an alcohol stove or my Tach 180 wood stove.

I used one of the TOAKS 1.3L pots this summer/fall on a couple different stoves. It is what it is (super thin Ti), but I had no issues with it. Quality on mine was spot on.

Yk

i have that long handle spoon. nothing super special about it..it's a spoon.

but it is fun to whip it out at Dairy Queen..

I've been looking at the 600ml cup to use with my snow peak. From all the reviews I've read on backpacking sites the small canister and snow peak fit inside that cup and the quality is right up there with snow peak at half the price. Do a search for "toaks titanium review" and you'll get a bunch of hits.
