Worth doing on an exo bag? It's a k4 if it matters. Would probably just scotch guard it.
Just looking to have a buffer against wet gear for passing showers without bringing a cover or full dry bag.

Thanks

The bag is very water resistant already. I wouldn't bother personally. Get a pack cover if you want it fully waterproof or expect excessive rain.

X2 on the raingly. I also carry a tyvek "pillow case" every year for packing meat in. Allows it to breath, but really cuts down on the blood seepage.

Do you make your own out of tyvek? I like that idea for certain hunts, and turn it inside out and use for a meat tarp while breaking them down

I do. I also tape the inner seams with tyvek tape for an extra seal. The sewing machine does a good job making for a tight stitch, but that's the weakest point for allowing moisture out for sure.
