No comment. Actually it seems testing one like that can be discouraging. I had a cheaper rain jacket I tried that with years ago and it failed miserably in the shower, but in the rain worked okay. Something about the pressure of the water out of the shower being way higher than most any rain or some such science.

How else you gonna test it? Family thinks its funny but whatever.

I've done it. Actually found a couple small holes I didn't know about in one jacket. If nothing else it builds confidence in your gear.

Quite a few times, although around here you dont have to wait long for a rain shower to test rain gear.
