Looking forward to do some 3D shoots. I should have more time this year hopefully. I only got to do a couple last year. Lots of snow on the ground right now but I’m able to shoot 20 yards here at my house. Grouping with 3 different sets of arrows I made up. 525 grn Cedar, 552 grn Dougfir and 580 grn Dougfir. All fly good and group well at 20. The lighter spine arrows with the lighter tip weight seems to be more forgiving. The heavier spine arrows with heavier tip weight aligns with the gaps I like for hunting. I’ll get out soon and shoot these sets at different distances to see what I like best.

Love me 3d shooting with my recurve. Used to travel to shoots all over the west. I really enjoy the competition.

But the last few years I haven't hardly made any shoots. Kids are at an age where they keep me busy most weekends, which is awesome too.

Here's a picture of just a few of the buckles we won back when the wife and I were hitting the 3d trail hard.
