Anybody ever use this stuff???

The thread about sliding of Tyvek had me thinking. I like tyvek, but laying silicone beads can be a PITA.

Why not something like this?

Just a small strip under the pad should do it and it weighs almost nothing.

That stuff and the similar for under rugs should work. I have been eyeing some sprays that are out there to spray on pad or Tyvek.

I've thought about just sticking some velcro on the tyvek and my sleeping pad....

This has been brought up as an option a few times but I don't see how carrying this stuff every time is less of a pain in the ass than just doing silicone once.

I too have been really tempted to use Velcro.

Look for Benjamin Odyke Hydrogap, little rubber/silicone bead pattern over the house wrap. And it’s less noisy. Not sure about weight and may be slightly bulkier. We used it on one job but had no left overs, but kept thinking how perfect it would be. My boys threatened me not to use Tyvek again because how noisy I was on it!

I've been using this stuff for a couple years, it work great.

I've tried the silicone beads, strips etc, but the non-skid shelf material has worked the best.
