Anybody else's dog watch tv intently?

My heeler goes nuts if something on the TV looks like a cow. I have to change channels.

I have a golden that watches TV. She likes any show that has animals, Star Wars, and Jeopardy.

When animals come on screen she will stalk the TV and then start barking her ass off.

One of my setters used to watch bird hunting shows. He would get up and look and sniff behind the TV. Really liked the rooster cackles and hunt dead. He'd squeal and whine and tap his feet like he just wished he were there so bad.

As I mentioned, I do not watch TV. My wife does, and she told me when ever The View comes on her dog snarls at the TV. She doesn't watch it, it just happens to come on after something else she had been watching. She left it on just long enough to call me so I could watch her dog, funny as hell. Another smart dog.

My dog waits intently when animals come on the TV. Stares them down like they are real. Even tries chasing them.
