Just curious if Im the only one. I get so pumped after the shot that I start gagging, regurgitating like a wierdo. Just crossed my mind and im thinking im not alone. I was talking to a buddy and he said "I would do the same chit when I raced mx!"

Ill do it even if Im not the shooter. Wife got her first deer and looked over at me. I started gagging like crazy. " babe whats wrong!" Me-"all good,im good...its normal" her " for who?!?"

I don't puke but I've gotten the shakes and weak knees bad enough that I have had to sit down and gather myself together. Nothing while the animal is in front of me. I'm usually ice cold until I pull the trigger but then my composure collapses. I've had to wait twenty minutes to climb down with my climber because I was too weak and uncoordinated right after the shot.

Becca was able to capture the "after shot" of the grizz I shot Monday night...looks like I've never taken one before, glad it still feels that way even if I've taken several. I'll be working on the trip video tonight. I still think I look like a goof ball being so surprised it piled up and tumbled down the snow field with one shot but again still glad I get that way!!! If I end up just being "cool hand Luke" after I shoot and act as if it is no big deal and not excited I think I need to quit hunting all together. Its exciting stuff and I guess we all show it in different ways, some of us got goof grins, some of us shake, and some of us upchuck our lunches....nothing wrong with any of it!!!

Lol, I've seen friends do it before high school basketball games back in the day but never heard of it with hunting.

I guess consider it a good thing that you are so amped up that you have that issue

My cousin does it every year in the mornings before we start our hunt and after a kill. Its a common scene for his brother and I, but we get a kick out new friends we bring along for the hunt. They start freaking out like, hey is that guy alright?? We just nod now and grab him a water bottle ...lol

I did on one deer. biggest blacktail id ever shot (still is) it was after I got it back to the truck though, adrenaline was still running pretty high

My nephew when he was 1-3 years old would puke every time he started crying.... is that kinda the same thing????? ha jk'n I've never heard of anybody doing this lol
