Well 83mulligan and matt1glenn....I wish you the best of times on your hunt(s). I was screwed AGAIN by work and will be prepared correctly for next year. Looking at Colorado DIY OTC in the 13, 231, 131 areas for 2016.

Let me know if you are going solo next year...maybe I can alter my plans a bit.

I'm from Warren.

I may be doing a cow hunt with an experienced cousin next September in WY but if not next year, definitely the year after with an OTC tag in either CO or ID.

Well I didnt get to go Elk in CO...and I have seen quite a few Whitetails but I have yet to fling an arrow. Loving this drawn out fall...hope it stays awhile.

I applied for New Mexico, long shot. Plan on going to Idaho salmon region elk and mule deer hunting for the first time as back up plan, wondering if anyone would like to meet up and possibly go. I live in Whitmore lake and have no elk experience. Looking to go for 10-14 days during rifle season.
