I've been killing them with a crossbow lately but have killed them with rifle ranging from a 17wsm-308
We have so many hogs on our place we cant supplement feed deer
We've trapped them shot them quit feeding and nothing gets rid of them
The number one rule is if you see a hog shoot it or dont come back
The largest to date I've killed has been 402 lbs and have killed several between 300-400 lbs

Hogs are a ton of fun. We are overrun with them here in Florida and they are just a blast.

I use my AR on them but grave taken with with 30-30, 308, 223, 243, and 30-06

Have not used my bow yet because I don’t feel like chasing them into the woods my the rifl shot are all basically dead right there.

Well, myself and a buddy now get to add ourselves to the list of happy Shiloh Ranch hunters. Both of us were able to take 2 hogs. My friend Scott shot his with a firearm and was his first big game kill. I shot both of mine spot and stalk style with my PSE compound bow. We both had an amazing time and Les, the ranch manager, really took care of us to make sure we had a fine hunt. The owners, John and Linda, came out to meet us during the hunt and are fine people. We really appreciate them accommodating us for a last minute hunt booking. I definitely will look forward to doing this again in the future.

Oh no, not at all! But obtaining the permits to hunt where they live (Congo & I believe Guinea) is really tough.
Also, unfortunately, African travel isn't in my future.

I‘ve hunted them nasty critters for 30 years mostly south of Lake O.
I gave up my lease South of Clewiston in turn for a lease in Alabama.
We shoot hogs in AL but pretty much as a by product of deer hunting.
The population is growing up there. More hogs than even a few years ago.
I hunt in southern Ohio as well and I wouldn't be shocked to see one up there to be honest. They are fun to shoot and plentiful. Ok to eat .
