All dialed in on my bow out to 60 yards. Confident out to 50. Having trouble tuning broadheads now. 😡 Not sure what to do. Shooting 150 two blade. Vanes on my arrows are really too short for two blade I think. Two inches. Should have paid more attention when I bought them. Might go 125 three blade and see what happens.

Any tips for my buddy???

How tall are the vanes?

Height is more important than length.

If they are tall you might be getting fletching contact that you don't notice with field points. Check for contact, might be able to rotate fletching.

Could be vanes, could be any number of other things. Need more info to give advice…
  • What kind of trouble are you having? Are broadheads grouping consistently but hitting a different spot than field points? Or are your broadheads grouping poorly?
  • Is/was your bow tuned with field points?
  • What broadhead tuning adjustments have you tried (e.g., cam timing, cam shimming, rest windage/elevation, d-loop position)?
  • Draw weight?
  • Draw length?
  • Arrow length?
  • Arrow spine?
  • Arrow front end weight (insert + collar + head)?
