Any golden boy experience?

Local shop has a golden boy 17hmr. The thing is cool as crap., but It’s not a steal by any means. Thought about going to get it but I’ve heard they aren’t terribly accurate. Any experience with the 17s or 22s is greatly appreciated. I’ve been looking for a cz 457 but apparently they are no where to be found. I asked about ordering and he chuckled about the cz.

I have a Henry frontier and a golden boy in 17hmr. I’ve never shot the golden boy but prefer the feel of the frontier. The frontier seems to be pretty accurate.

i had a henry 22 mag and it was slick as snot and smooth as you could hope for.

but it was lucky to hit a pop can at 25 yds.

I have a Henry Lever in 22 Mag. Actually, bought it for my son.
Thing will barely hit a soda can at 30 yards with iron sights.
But like "raporter" says, slicker n snot.
A nice Leupold scoped helped a bit but it is still not as accurate
as my cheap old Marlin 25 MN, 22 mag.

Bought my nephew a Golden Boy in 22LR. Fine, accurate rifle. A blast to shoot. Put a smile of disbelief on his face.
