I don't see what's that funny about people not knowing much about a niche activity...Read some pretty funny stories of clueless people when it comes to hunting on another forum. Let’s hear some more
I don't see what's that funny about people not knowing much about a niche activity...
I mean, what percentage of the total population hunts? You couldn't pay me to urban or suburban hunt, but if you think hunting is a niche activity, you're part of the problem ....
It IS true that people not knowing about hunting is a problem though.
Then again, while topwater fishing from the bank at night, in a pond at a condo complex that used to be just woods out in the country when I was a lad, I had some karen waddle up in the dark under the streetlight and ask what I was doing.
I said, "Fishing."
And she said, "Now? You're scaring all the frogs."
The dumb bunny was probably thinking of the fact that after a rain in the summer, a lot of frogs hopped out of the pond and on to the blacktop 30 yards away, only to get squooshed by her friends in their Hondas and Subarus.
Don't ask me why frogs do what they do.
I just stared at her, but inside my jaw might have dropped a little.

According to my quick calculation, about 4% (USA numbers)I mean, what percentage of the total population hunts?
Sounds pretty niche...According to my quick calculation, about 4% (USA numbers)
I saw somewhere that in America, 75% of men cannot do a pull up.Sounds pretty niche...
That's about what I thought it was.
