Any Arrowhead Hunters out there?

@Jimbee

What are the three items in that first picture? I've seen a lot of things, scrapers, heads (arrow & hawk), spear points, rock game balls, etc, all in the midwest. But I don't recognize those. I'm probably going daft, but I'm curious.
Those are agates. Just pretty rocks that folks look for while kayaking small rivers, or anywhere rocks get exposed, around my part of the world. This is the biggest one I've ever found.IMG_1520.JPEG

My grandparents had about 45 acres in the north western part of SC. It was obviously a stronghold for native Americans at some point. Back in the 50’s when my dad was a kid, he found a tremendous number of artifacts like point s and pottery. He has a shadow ox of about 30 of the best ones. From small bird points to what I assumed are larger spear tips that are 4” +/- long. I have found a few one my own at a spot along the Savannah river where I get to hunt a few times a year.

My uncle was great at finding arrowheads on my great-grandparents' farm. As others have said, he found them mostly along waterways and in plowed fields. I still have a couple of his finds on my mantel.
