25,000 Kms on my ‘19 3.5 Eco (XLT, FX4, 3.55’s). 2.5” BDS front level and ReadyLift 3.5” rear block with 286/65R20 BFG KO2’s. Average about 13.5 L/100kms (17.5mpg) between city, highway, and backroads. Been a great truck so far and really like the way it drives. Had two 5.0’s previous to this one and while they are fun, I like the torque curve of the 3.5 and ability to move you without running such high RPM.

I have a 2020 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Getting 21 on the highway which is much better than the 12 I was getting from my 5.4. Love the power and the 6.5 bed( as someone else posted, I got it specifically so I could sleep in the bed). Will see how it pulls up the mountain west of Denver with a load come October.

How big is the max tow for pulling the occasional small horse trailer over mountian passes? Found a Lariat with low miles for cheap that doesn't have it.
I don't currently own a trailer but plan to get one in the future.

Thanks for the help fellers!
I compromised on the bed length. I figure I most just drive to work and around town 98.95% of the time so I don't really haul that much. Then the cab will be great for storing gear.

Another reason is this is a 2017 Lariat with 65k miles. I got it for $30,000!!!!! Thank you Canada! Got lucky and it's already fully American compliant. A local trade in from by Calgery.

It doesn't have the max tow or fx4. But it has the locking rear axel and the 36 gal tank. Looks like it's already leveled. Rated for 7000# which should handle a small two horse trailer.

I found a couple XLT 302as long beds but they all wanted $32-35k. It was a hard sell to the wife as is to buy a newer used truck vs one that's like a 14 or 15. So I jumped on this.

Local importer is going to bring it down for a few hundred bucks. Still out ahead!

Only complaint about not being able to run up myself and get it is it has to sit in the importers yard for 30 days before I can get it. I'll be sneaking in to drive it around the impound

Yeah I should have kept the money in country... But isn't capolizim finding the best deal?

The max tow package comes with a bigger trans cooler, engine oil cooler, and lower axle gears, also included a bigger radiator with electric fans in the 11-14 model years. Definitely stuff you'd want if towing heavy.

This does have the 3:55 rear end. I figure if I need more towing power I'll just get a 2500

I’ve got a 17’ base model extended cab ecoboost with the elocker as my work truck. Just ticked 100k in it. I’ve never been a fan of ford, but i’m really impressed with this truck. Besides regular maintenance it has given me virtually no problems. I’m super happy with it and considering picking up a 4 door as a personal vehicle. As far as towing i’ve scooted a mini-x around town and it was surprisingly well mannered.
