Antlers Used to Gear Hooks

Anyone have pics or examples of affixing antlers to wall for hanging gear hooks? I have few bulls I am going to do this for in the man cave just trying to get it affixed to the wall. Weight on the hooks will be minimal; but want best way to affix to wall.

No pics, but drill two holes in antler and affix to stud at least an inch or more. May have to cut or file to flatten spot on antler to lay flat on wall

I went with a bracket behind and strapped Buffalo leather in front to hug tight to wall. Have few more to setup as getting garage/man cave set.

No pics but I used a handrail mounting bracket for one as a towel rack.
