Last year for our bear hunt we ran 2 regular Thermacell units. I just got the new Radius on to test out for this years hunt. Looking forward to it.

Had a good workout with some fellow Roksliders on Saturday. Dean, Chad, Tim and Matt put in some great effort. We packed the Kifaru’s, Pumped the Brute Force and did lots of other fun stuff.

Some of you guys know me and have followed the season in previous years. If you’re newer, you probably don’t know my history. This summer is coming up on my 10th year of being healthy. Back in 08 I tipped the scales at 230 pounds. I have attached the sheet of roughly my last 10 months of body fat measurements.It’s definitely a balance training to be triathlon ready and mountain ready. I’ll be running a lot of the different MTN OPS again this year as I tweak things to have an even more athletic season and Hunt. You guys have any questions about my routines or any of the supplements post away.

Sicker than a dog today......what does that really mean? All I know is man I feel like I got hit by a truck!!

On the hunting side of things I did get my NM harvest report done, my AZ elk application done, and CO account updates for both Hunter and I.

If you haven't done AZ, it's due today!!

Getting questions on my workout and training style.

I lift 4-5 times per week. I spin at least twice per week (I teach). I do backpack cardio 1x per week minimum. I swim at least once a week. That is now during the WI winters, what I consider my offseason. I also sprinkle in some cross country skiing.

I use lift as a generic term. Lifting, to me, means moving weight. Whether it be actual free weights, sand bags, operator vest, tires, whatever. Doesn't matter.

Skied the American Birkiebeiner on Saturday. I had 8 miles of ski training in this year. Had a great time sking the 50k in some beautiful conditions.

It would be cool. I don’t have a desire to personally . I would donate the hunt to a youth. I think it would be a cool feautsvfilm for Sitka.
