Another Broadhead Question

I currently am shooting 125 Ramcat broadheads. They shoot great for me and devastate whatever they hit. The issue I have is that blades need to be babysat in order to ensure that they are fully seated (they are hinged so allow for pull out in the event you dont have a pass thru and to keep them from being considered a barbed head).

I have enough crap to keep track of - range, shot angle, camera if self filming, drawing, kids moving around if hunting with them...The last thing I need is to have to be sure of is that my broadheads will fly correctly because one of the blades is not fully seated!

What I love about these heads is not only their accuracy and penetration, but the fact that they cut when pulled out (both sides of the blades are razor sharp). So in the event that you dont have a pass thru and the arrow backs out, its still slicing and dicing.

Are there any less maintenance alternatives available?

Thanks
Ryan

I have shot Wac'em broadheads the last 3 years and have been EXTREMELY impressed. I will be shooting them again this year as well.

I've shot all of these heads listed and so far have really liked the G5 montecs for a fixed blade and the Fuse archery heads for a mechanical head all in 100 grain (they are discontinued and hard to find the replacement blades). I've been wanting to try grim reaper broadheads, but haven't bought a pack yet.
NAP spitfire
NAP spitfire maxx
NAP thunderhead
Fuse tsunami
Rage 3 blade chisel tip
G5 Montec
Muzzy MX-3
Muzzy Trocar
Magnus stinger 4 blade
Wac 'em 4 blade
Rocket steel heads

I have tried several different heads but always come back to Slick Trick Magnum 100 grains. Fly great and get the job done when I do my part.

Since you like the Ramcat, you have confidence in the Ramcat, why not shoot the Ramcat that has the traditional closed blade design (Diamond back they call it). They fly the same.

If your worried Put some loktite on the screws and the blades won’t pivot. I don’t think it’s an issue thou

I switched to these last year from the single bevels for the same reason and they are far better when practicing and shoot/penetrate the same. That said I still lose blades occasionally in targets if I don't check the screws every so often...I lost one today actually.
