I currently am shooting 125 Ramcat broadheads. They shoot great for me and devastate whatever they hit. The issue I have is that blades need to be babysat in order to ensure that they are fully seated (they are hinged so allow for pull out in the event you dont have a pass thru and to keep them from being considered a barbed head).
I have enough crap to keep track of - range, shot angle, camera if self filming, drawing, kids moving around if hunting with them...The last thing I need is to have to be sure of is that my broadheads will fly correctly because one of the blades is not fully seated!
What I love about these heads is not only their accuracy and penetration, but the fact that they cut when pulled out (both sides of the blades are razor sharp). So in the event that you dont have a pass thru and the arrow backs out, its still slicing and dicing.
Are there any less maintenance alternatives available?
Thanks
Ryan
