Just came off ankle surgery in June (ATFL Reconstructed) and starting PT Monday. “Should” be good by 1st week September.

Anyone have recommendations on boots to support an ankle after ligament surgery?

Sheep feet help?

Currently I am running kenetreks and love them but they have started to leak after 6 years.

Stay with Kens?

Thanks guys!

I’ve over done my season this year with 3 bull tags 2 buck tags and an antelope tag. I didn’t expect to have ankle surgery unfortunately.

I sprained my ankle pretty bad a few years ago on a hunt in some lightweight boots. I ended up purchasing some Schnees Timberlines. The ankle support is quite a bit higher than other boots that I have found and they hold up great. I can't recommend them enough, but they are pricey.

Love my kenetreks ankle support and I use them with sheepfeet but i think the stock insoles are good too. Just grind PT hard and build up the strength of those ligaments IMO would have the best ROI.

Any of the Crispi line with the ABSS feature. I like the Nevada uninsulated. I use the Superfeet blues in them and they are perfecto.
