Ankle/low gaiter suggestions.

I have a pair of sitka mountain pants with the knee pads and need a pair of gaiters, anyone else use ankle/low gaiters? I'm open to suggestions.

interested as well. find the solomon trail gaiters interesting. wondering if anyone has used them?

here heaps of people(farmers mainly) use small canvas gaiters we call puttees. they are pretty simple to make. im sure a saddle shop of canvas goods could make up a pair for about 20 bucks. you can make em from fleece aswell.

also the Swazi gaiter are pretty low, they are awesome.

I use the outdoor research black ones. I like them for keep stuff out of my boots. Aron Snyder turned me on to them years ago

I like the Outdoor Research Flex Tex but the endurance are a little higher end same height though.

I use the OR Endurance ones. They are pricey, but will last many years.

I used REI ankle gaitors for many years, but now I prefer the OR bugout gaitors. The permethrin also seems to deter ticks well.
