Jun 26, 2014 #3 JP100 WKR Joined Dec 20, 2013 Messages 1,230 Location South Island New Zealand here heaps of people(farmers mainly) use small canvas gaiters we call puttees. they are pretty simple to make. im sure a saddle shop of canvas goods could make up a pair for about 20 bucks. you can make em from fleece aswell. also the Swazi gaiter are pretty low, they are awesome. http://www.swazi.co.nz/shop/extras/ali-gaiters/?src=extras
