I have had excellent results with Hornady spire points, 150 or 165 grain, cheap (about $30 box) and very effective on deer.

I’ve looked at Hornady SST and precision hunter they say they are very accurate but have seen a lot of people say there was poor performance in closer ranges, no blood trail and deer walking off etc. Might take a look at ballistic tips as Seuss mentioned. Saw the Remington introduced a newish Remington core lokt tipped

At your speeds the 178 eldx will perform very well. What people are talking about is close up shots with eldx bullets. I personally haven’t had any issues with close shots out of magnum rifles. The 178eldx at your speed and yard will mushroom perfectly and penetrate very well.
