Ammo for Yellow Boy 38 special?

Anyone have one of these? I received one as a gift and my first two questions are (1) what ammo works well, and (2) what do you use it for?

I have a Rossi 357, eats everything i feed it including the aluminum cased Blazer .38s without issue. Not the same gun, but I'd say get a grab bag, order a few boxes of cheap 38s and see what runs.

Grab a scope mount and throw a red dot on there. Yeah yeah it's heresy but hitting a spinner or gong with it is too much fun not to. .38s are solid on smaller game as well.

I'm thinking of using this bad boy for my first Grizz hunt. The Buffalo Bore rounds do produce a lot more energy than standard cop issue boolits. Yeah, I know it's a bit of a short barrel, but I'm looking at close shots only - the old "wait for the whites of their eyes" kinda ranges. Please weigh in with your thoughts.
