Always have a Backup Bow!!!

I don't keep a back up bow ready to go. All depends on your situation. I wouldn't take one on my elk hunt as I would have no place to leave it other than in the truck. Early season central MT we see many days in the 80-90's. Not good on a bow in a vehicle. Less than a 2 hour drive to places with multiple bow shops. If mine had a catastrophic failure I'd drive to town and buy a new one. Wouldn't take long to get it tuned and sighted in. Depending on when it happened it might not even cost me a full day of hunting.

If I need a back up bow I'll just go get one. Really wouldn't bother me to miss a week or two of deer season at home.
