Alternative NeoAir Xtherm?

The insulated V Luxe isn't on the STP, just the regular version of the wide. I bought mine at the Expo years ago, think they had them for $70. I like it way better than the Exped pool floaty pads I've tried. Warmth to weight ratio though nothing is gonna touch the Xtherm it's just $$$$.

What is the coldest temp you guys are using the insulated tensor down to? Looks great but I am not seeing a R value

Many companies did not publish an R value for their sleeping pads prior to this year. That has changed and I believe we hav REI to thank for it. Starting this year, REI is requiring any pad that is sold at their store to go through standardized testing to get an R value. The Nemo tensor has an R value of 3.5 and the Nemo tensor has an R value of 4.7.

Note the xtherm has the best weight to R value ratio from what I can tell. I guess that doesn’t matter much if it isn’t comfortable enough to sleep on.

Exped Downmat x 10+ years and still haven't found anything 1) warmer, 2) more comfy, 3) quieter. There are lighter weight mats out there, but I'll suffer the Exped Downmat weight for much better sleep.
