No other pocket bino has the field of view and ease of use than the Zeiss Victory Pocket 8x25’s. Alpha glass in a pocket bino.
The Leica and Swaro options are like looking through little tubes, regardless of the glass quality.

Do you keep your Zeiss victory 8x25's in the OEM case or have you found something that works better?

I keep them in a little Steiner case that I got with some binos years ago. Its a semi hard case that fits perfectly. It can then be tossed in any pack, center console etc.
If I'm using them for hunting, I either throw them in a marsupial Little Joey pouch or a SG small bino harness.

Has any one had a chance to look through the Zeiss SFL 8x30? They look like a nice option for a semi affordable and light weight chest bino. I currently have the NL 8x42 I run on my chest but I’m looking for an option when I want to go ultralight.

My wife has the Swaro CLs 10x30. They are nice, wish we would have gotten them in 8x.

I recently got the Swaro CLs in 8x30 and very happy with them.

Mine fit perfectly in a marsupial rangefinder case. Folded over, they are a snug fit. The case they came with is not useable for much.

I haven’t tried all of the alphas mentioned. I do have the maven 8x30s and they’re absolutely perfect for my timber pounding hunts and have done a fair bit of long distance glassing, I can’t say I’ve felt too undergunned with them
