All new Burris Fullfield 2025

Lol thanks. You mentioned if they hold zero they should be a good scope, so based on that comment I thought maybe the comment about the glass was a typo.

It's a $200 scope. Can't expect it to be perfect.

The 2.5-10 is a little fishbowl-ish at 2.5. It seems to straighten out by 4x or so. Keeping in mind that it's <$200, if it holds zero bouncing around a truck cab, I'll consider it money well spent.

I have a 2-8x35mm illuminated full field on the way for my 22lr. The specs check all the boxes for small game hunting.

Sighted in the 2-8x35 with a 22lr laser cartridge thingy, went to the range and adjusted two clicks down and shot 100 rounds dead nuts on at 20yd. The two clicks felt very crisp, no need to be a safecracker as with the VX freedom I just replaced.

Eye relief is pretty short, but that's aok on a small stock 22lr. Picture is very clear and field of view at 2x is very wide. Scope feels heavy and solid for the size... It's only "light" because of the 1" tube and short length.

Illuminated reticle wasn't quite bright enough on the max setting to see it over a white target in daylight, but works fine aiming at darker targets. With illumination off, the reticle is clear and distinct. I'll try holdovers at longer distances for fun next time at the range.

I'm very happy with the scope for now. Hope to not drop it, but that will inadvertently happen when hunting.

Any more info on these? Specifically the 3-12. Looking at one for a 308.

Watcha wanna know? I picked up the 3-12 illuminated windplex with exposed turrets. I like the reticle and the small illuminated middle section is great. The illumination settings seem unimpressive in daylight but they’re perfect in low light. I don’t know why people care about daylight bright on a hunting scope anyway. The turret clicks are nice and crisp unlike the mushy Signature HD, and the zero stop hits a wall at 0. My only complaint so far is the magnification ring is pretty dang stiff. Not a fan of throw levers so I’m hoping that loosens up over time.

Do you have model # 201533? With the Wind Ret Illuminated?
Does it seem to hold zero and track when dialing?
Do have any pictures of the scope and possibly the reticle? Thank you.

That’s it. It hasn’t been thru the wringer yet. It had a pretty easy job of getting zeroed and dialing to 300 on a 22-250. I’ll update when I can get it out and do a box test and bang it around a bit.

@Bugger

A couple more questions if you can.

Burris just emailed me and said the that the model #201533 does not have a zero stop.
I’m assuming they are crossed up from your confirmation from your prior post.
Does it say “wind 16x” in the scope view at the top of the vertical cross hair? Thanks.

You got some bad info. It definitely has a zero stop and says WIND 12X at the top of the vertical line. Heres a few quick pics. Disregard the image quality thru the scope, these new iPhones are a pain in the ass to focus thru optics. It was on 3x in the picture, trees about 200y away. This is mounted on a vanguard short action, it’s my throw around pig and small game gun so it’ll definitely get tested for zero retention.

Greatly appreciated.
Meant to say Wind 12x. Not 16.
If there’s enough tube to get the eye relief where it needs to be, I’m going to try one.
I think it would work very well for what I’m wanting to do.
Thanks again.

I've got a lot more adjustment range my Kimber with the 3-12, but I have leupold rings with the weird offset over the chamber.

How's the glass quality compare to say a vortex or other scopes in this price range? I don't get why they made the tube so short.
