So i am looking to get something like the Hornady 3 in 1 trimmer. Do you just choose the shortest piece of brass and go with that as a measurement so they are all the same or do you pick a length and allow the rest to grow into that?
I say this because I want to eliminate as many steps as possible but I realize I will still have to chamfer and debur those cases that are short.
Just want a starting point so I don't go crazy with the details that may not matter.

I have the Frankford Arsenal all in 1 case trimmer, and it works pretty good. To set up the first case, I select a case that is longer than my desired length, and run it in the trimmer. I then measure with a digital micrometer, shave it, re-measure, etc, until it’s at my desired length. It’s really simple, and I can trim cases, camber and deburr fairly quickly.
