Alaskan Cruise

Way to much to see in Alaska to do it from a boat. It really depends on what you like. A cruse is a relaxing way to see shore line. My family chose to fly there and put over 1,400 miles on a rental car over 9 days. We went non stop the first few days, but had a great time and saw a lot of Alaska.
I did something similar a few years ago with my family. We rented an RV camper truck and drove around Alaska for 8 days. It was so amazing we decided to just move up.

It’s such a big state we barely got to scratch the surface!

Lots of advice above, but I’ll suggest something in a different direction. If you’ve got them, bring l a pair of used work boots and a worn carhart jacket. They go a long way when you get off the boat. I’ve been to Alaska a few times and looking less like a tourist has resulted in some great recommendations and warmer hospitality than I came to expect when wearing my nicer clothes. That’s not a knock on the locals, but an observation after a few different trips.
