Thanks, ill check it out. Still new here and trying to navigate the forum.Look at the top post on here "what i learned on my first caribou hunt", that guy went through alot of his gear. There are numerous posts on here that talk about gear people are using.
You dont have to buy all the most expensive gear to kill caribou. have good broken in boots with good ankle support. If your feet are sore from boots your not leaving the tent.

Awesome thank you!@Karson88 i posted it above
If your hunt is an August hunt expect swarms of biting mosquitoes and/or blackflies (whitesox),
so a headnet, DEET based repellent, etc.
Thanks. Is yours the podcast to which I’ve been listening? Those boots I used have a built in gaiter, not just a normal waterproof boot. The other guys had a normal boot with a gaiter and were a little jealous of mine. I took a direct route through standing water a lot of times when they were zigzagging around pools.

Yes. That’s it. It was great. Lots of good info.Probably, I did one with Jordan. I have an article and gear/logistics post up too.
There are a bunch of people here with way more experience than me, but I’ll help if I can.
