I just drew this tag for the 2021 season, as this is my first sheep hunt can you give me any info on where to start scouting or areas that can I can look into? Also what gear do you recommend? Should we plan for snow?

I suggest you hit the trails and scout all summer and hope the sheep don’t get blown out. Definitely a great tag and yes snow can be an issue but it can also help sometimes

I was pretty sure I was going to draw for moose this year, since I found out after the deadline that we are expecting a kid September 1st. I see some Alaska birthday parties in this kid’s future.

Or if its decent bourbon does it matter why you are drinking it?
