Alaska draw result personal information?

I just received a mail from a Lodge, congratulating me on drawing the southeast Alaska bear tag. I don't want to mention their name, I understand people want to grow their business.
I was just surprised how they got my name and physical address. After a little digging, this is what I found on Alaska fish and game. Basically, if people request, they can selectively provide my certain information to them. What do you think?

No different than the DMV giving up your info. Ever wonder why you get calls about your cars extended warranty? I don't like it, but somehow they can do it.

I think it’s a fairly straightforward issue. They give people the option to choose. This is pretty common these days, and not just with hunting apps, businesses do it also.

yep, they'll redact id's and WY redacts email addy unless you opt in.
