I have a lifelong dream I would like to fulfil within the next few years. I want to take my son for his graduation from high school present on an Alaskan multi species hunt. What I mean by that is I want to be in an area with variety of game and have multiple tags in my pocket that allow for flexibility to shoot whatever we may come across. Caribou? Moose? And brown or grizzly bear? These seem like the easiest to Combo up together. Right? Fishing would also be great, but that could probably be tacked on either end of the hunting trip.

I understand of course that this would be limited by season dates, which is part of my question. What time of year would allow for the best chances at a multi species hunt? Which outfitter might provide the best experience? Cost is not so much a factor. Just want to do it right.

I had a fantastic trip with Luke Tyrrell of Tyrrell's Trails in 2023 (Moose & Grizzly). Will be going back in 2027 with the same tags in my pocket. He hunts the Brooks Range and it's a great location for multi species.

You’d be look at the September time frame for the most part and be hunting north if you want to include caribou with moose and grizzly.

I don’t know any guides sorry

With the current state of most AK caribou herds, a moose grizzly combo might be the best bet. Non-res moose season is generally in September, the colder the better for moose (fewer bugs in Sept too). Lots of guys hunt moose out of Bethel these days, you would have lots of company tho. If you could find a good guide service in Unit 20 flying out of Tok or Delta Junction, that might offer a good opportunity for moose and grizz, and maybe a wolf too (don't think you need a tag for NR wolf in Unit 20, and you used to be able to take more than 1)
