Airlock Zero Gravity Nano (.224)

Nice! I know 223 is never really hearing safe. At the same time, shooting a bolt action 223 with the b&t is very comfortable without ears.
AR rifles are never really hearing safe due to the "port pop" and noise level of the Gas operated action.

on a bolt gun 223 can definitely be reduced well below 140dB (OSHA's general threshold for a single occurrence) and be made tolerable without hearing protection. I still wear ear pro but It's sooo much nicer to shoot with only a set of foamies in vs double ear pro like I do if shooting unsuppressed, and doing loud things day in and out at work.

I recently got to swap out the nano onto my 223 trainer and I dropped about 12oz and 3" off the muzzle. I didn't do extensive testing but I did shoot a few rounds with the KGM R30T I've been using and then I immediately swapped on the nano.
MAYBE It got a tiny bit louder with the nano. probably just a tiny bit louder. honestly though it's pretty freaking close. I didn't swap back and forth or do side by side or anything. but my initial thought was that it BARELY got a little louder, definitely no chance of going back. I just put the nano on my scale and it came in at 3.2oz! literally the same weight as just the steel muzzle device required to mount the R30T...

impressive performance indeed.
