Air Lock Industries Suppressor

Anyone found an easy way to clean the Titanium powder off the threads?

Compressed air, carb cleaner, dishsoap and water are slowly improving it, but still got a bunch in there.

About to try red and tacky grease on a fish hook or pick. Pick alone was moving them around, but seemed like static was redepositing them as fast as i could scrape.

Having a tough time threading the suppressor on the barrel? I thought maybe it was just mine. Not terrible but certainly takes more effort than I expected.

Yeah, it was pretty much a no go with maybe 1 thread engagement at first. After a bunch of cleaning, it will get almost halfway before hitting another chip and binding up.

Its slowly getting cleaned, but has been a process so far with no easy fix.

Maybe try a wiring brush ?
Have you contacted airlock and asked them what to do

Yeah, thought about trying a pistol sized bronze brush, that kit appears to be MIA right now.

Hadn't asked airlock yet, thought maybe there was something everyone was doing with these cans other than a quick wipe with an oily patch I wasnt aware of.

Typically, just some gun oil on a paper towel works.

That being said if you’re having issues, send us a DM, more than happy to send you an overnight label and ship it back to us just to make sure everything’s good and we can clean it for you as well.
