I’ve watched his videos. He will start with one can and then screw in the next can. Seems mostly controlled with same conditions. Now it’s not in a giant shop in the middle of Wyoming. But I’d say if it’s just minutes apart the data would be close to show there is a difference. If you look at the two major sound groups they are at huge disagreements about testing standards and conditions. So there is no true consensus.
I look at both. Pew feels more scientific to me, where the summit is not much different, then what is done in these tests.
I notice that even in the sound summit the TBAC cans routinely get beat time and time again in most of the categories. But because of reputation people will still chose them even if there is a better sound reducing suppressor. Every time I see, “a which can do I get” TBAC ultras are always out there. But on this forum I feel like if anyone dissents against TBAC or tika or heaven forbid love a Leupold they get called a fudd or something else. When there is huge amounts of data showing suppression for lots of other cans is drastically better. Heck even a few silencer central cans beat TBAC.
