Air Lock Industries Suppressor

Some are still waiting for their cans from the Black Friday sale…..

To be fair, waiting is just part of the game with new products from small businesses. I am currently waiting on an Airlock Nano from January 1st, an Unknown Suppressor from Black Friday, and a wooden RokStok lite from July 7. Communication and expectation management are important. I think Danny has been very clear and open about the timelines.

The wait doesn’t worry me. I waited over 18 months for my first paper form 4 silencer. That was hard. The sale today was pretty surprising though, to me....the smaller options disappeared very quickly!! I thought everyone was drooling over the 30. I'd be very curious what the availability numbers looked like when the gun went off.

Good stuff! I'm excited for the direction this space is moving.

That pisses me off so bad. I had no idea they were going on sale today. I literally emailed them at 10am PST asking when they would be back in stock and was told a few months for pre orders. I had 0 clue I had just missed them this morning 🤬🤬
They posted here , instagram , Facebook and sent emails saying exactly when the pre/order would open 😂😂

I just want a nano by November. Surely another preorder will be in 6-8 weeks for Augustish delivery? I didn’t know how fast they’d go, and my anger is at my ignorance, not Airlock. Though I do think they over-estimated demand for the 30 and under estimated the demand for the nano. Again, I’m sure the 30 is probably the best can out there but the margins on the tech specs aren’t near as wide as the nano is for us 223/22 ARC/22CM lovers, and I wish more production capacity was allocated there - $649 vs $1049 drove that to a point if I had to guess. I think they also find themselves in a predicament with pricing and the long pre-orders. Imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if the next preorder has $799 nanos while existing $649 preorders are still 1-3 months out from delivery. I’d have gladly put myself in the theoretical $799 tier today to get in the queue. As it is, my 2026 rifle shuffle and hunt plans have me looking at Mack Bros and the new Nomad Ti OTB unfortunately, but I will 100% own a nano one day lol.

And on the last pre-order, the Nanos hung around until afternoon!! I'd agree that they likely hedged on demand for the 30. Again, I'd be really curious if there were 30 Nanos up for grabs or 3000?

If I had to bet I’d say 50-75 at most. I just didn’t have the level of understanding I needed, I thought 9:07 PST would be more than adequate lol

The demand for the 30 was still very high. It still sold out in like 30 mins (or less)... Also, I don't think they had any idea of knowing how people would order. There is definitely a trend towards smaller guns though.

Personally, I wasn't super interested in the nano until I saw it at hunt expo. I was shocked how small it was, and then read how well it does. I'm sure that other guy's might have had the same experience.

Hopefully, they get that printer home soon and start pumping these things out.

It reminded me of what Black Friday sales used to be. Limited stock and you had to be there when the doors opened. I would have loved a dedicated 7mm can. But I’ll be happy with the 30 I picked up.

Lots of hype and deservedly so. By time I get mine, there will be more data and more videos to consume. More hype and less patience. My first can though, I bought right as Eforms were being released. So it was like a year wait. My last was three days on a trust. So a few months for back order (waited longer for a polo30).

In the end it will likely help company hype and sales.
