Air Lock Industries Suppressor

Yesterday I got to compare the 6.5ZG and my Scythe Ti on my 19” 260AI. And 7ZG and Scythe on a 7PRC. To my ears as the shooter, the Airlock ZG’s were quieter and had a better “sound” with less crack or concussive thump in both instances. This could be partially attributed to the Scythe’s Anchor Brake. I came into this comparison a little apprehensive as the ZG’s are much smaller dimensionally, and shouldn’t be as good as the Scythe. I wish I had taken a picture to show the size difference, totally forgot. Below are weights, Scythe, 7mmZG and 6.5ZG.

The zero g really defies logic , it’s such a great silencer

Got a few rounds through the ZG last night. REALLY wanted to use this can in wyoming this weekend so blasted out to the range after work just to check zero with it real fast. Had to adjust right .2 then it was ping ping ping at 400, 500, and 640. Pack up and home in time to make dinner and load the truck.

First impressions. This thing is comically light. Doesn't even feel real. On my 19" 6x284 norma RSS its hardly noticeable on the front. The balance point is akin to have a steel 4 port brake on the front.

She's real quiet. Had a random guy near me come shoot it twice so I could listen to it. The tone is different and not as "soft" as a raptor 8 but was not unpleasant. No ting like an a-10. The tone is "hollow" sounding. Not sure how to describe it better. I feel like my wife describing car noises to a mechanic haha. She definitely heats up quick which is to be expected being so light.

All in all I'm pretty tickled with it as a dedicated hunting can on an overbore 6mm that I try hard not to burn down though I've got 400 rounds on it in like 2 months😬

Despite its small size, the Airlock sounds like the real deal. Is this the new reference standard hunting can?
I’ve said it a few times but it doesn’t make sense how quiet this thing is . It’s quieter than my harvester evo , buddies scythe and right with my Hyperion K . It’s also in another league of suppression than my raptor 4 with 3” reflex and another new reflex silencer that I won’t name .

IMO it’s top dog in the compact silencer niche , and it’s not even close
