Air Lock Industries Suppressor

Boatloads of clueless users of IR thermometers.

Black electrical tape is my go-to for lower temp applications. Not a perfect 1.0, but good enough for ΔT which is what I usually need.

A bit of high-temp flat black spray enamel should work for suppressor measurements.

Yeah, it's any easy thing to miss for casual users. But, Danny may have accounted for it.

When I was Test guy, I'd use flat black paint and mil gage with IR temp gun.

Preference was always a t-couple though! Even to the point of routing wires inside an engine block to measure thrust bearing temps

I also remember somebody saying bore diameter didn’t matter for sound , and now they are making a 6.5 OG for some reason ….
I don't have a dog in this fight, but to be fair: in the recent S2H podcast with Cliff, he says that while this had been known as a general case for muzzle forward suppressors, the S2H/US team were surprised to find it to be the case with their design for OTB cans.
