Just a heads up , you can still do paperwork through the silencershop system . Your dealer just needs to add it to his online inventory once he receives it

Correct. Some FFLs will eat it, some will pass it on to the customer, some will mark it up an absurd amount.

He may not have been the first to add it or maybe they have changed something in the last year or so since I had to do it last.

We buy a lots of cans from SS but almost never use them for the Form 4.

That is what they do, but they also tack on a $170 fee

Ouch. My dealer "only" charges $100 but they have the SS kiosk and their own system and they insist on using their own system which annoys me because SS already has all my stuff and I don't want to have to dig my paperwork out and haul it up there.
If buying from SS they use the kiosk and it's free no transfer fee. If these ever hit SS I'd buy immediately, drives me nuts paying $100 extra.

You only use to kiosk once for prints, why do people keep using it after? Or am I misunderstanding?

The SOT I have used also charges $100 for a silencer transfer using the silencer shop system (so presumably $75 to them and $25 to silencer shop), they receive the can from wherever I got it from call me for the $100 fee and load it into my silencer shop account, if needed I update my photo in the account (yearly) with a cell phone via their app and purchase the stamp (and trust if applicable) and they prepare the form 4.

Ran an 80-round durability test on the 7mm Zero Gravity. Fired as fast as I could through a 16” 6.5 PRC. Based on my math, the muzzle pressures from this 16” 6.5 PRC are similar to what you’d see from an 18” 7 PRC

Not sure, I decided this time rather than try to take temps to just keep it as hot as I could and keep going.

Pre-orders open 9/12 at 10:00 AM MT for the 7mm and restock of the 6.5mm. Estimated ship date is 10/1 for those orders.

Order and Pay. Provide your FFL details during the checkout process.

Buy the tax stamp (or wait until Jan) and the single shot trust on silencer shop.

Airlock does a Form 3 to ship the can to your FFL and notifies you when Form 3 approved and can shipped.

When your FFL gets in the can they pull your profile from Silencer Shop and prepare the Form 4. You’ll Docusign the paperwork and then you can go complete the Form 4 in person or via Silencer Shop online portal. If online you’ll need your login and pin to ATF E Forms.

Wait a few days and enjoy quiet pews.
