Aider recommendations for Tethrd One sticks

The model depends entirely on what you are looking for, ie are you looking for single step aiders to live on each stick, are you looking for one multi-step aider, etc.

If youre looking for a multi-step that will be fixed to one aider I prefer the ones like the ape canyon at the link^^. Single steps I think a cable style is easier, although they are less convenient to pack. Tell us what you want and I bet you get a better answer.

Was thinking a double step on the first step and then a single aider on the second. They will be coming on and off depending on the location I am hunting.

OK, then I like the ape canyon 2-step for your first stick. You can un buckle it if you want to remove, although my guess is if you use them you'll just leave them on all the time--more hassle than its worth to remove, and half the time your decision to bring it or not will be wrong. Something like the 1/8" amsteel single step aider at the link is easy to remove and use as needed--you can just keep it in a dump bag, it's only a few ounces. Figure each aider step in your system will get you an extra 15-18".
